Discover Buddhist Temple Huyen Khong Son Thuong in Hue City
Huyen Khong Son Thuong Pagoda (Chùa Huyền Không Sơn Thượng Huế) is located in Cham Hamlet, Huong Ho Ward, Huong Tra Town of Thua Thien Hue Province. It is a famous pagoda and a beautiful spot of Hue ancient capital of Vietnam.
The pagoda belongs to the Theravada Buddhist sect, which was started by Venerable Gioi Duc in 1989. The temple is located in the middle of the pine forest all year round, green, cool, birds chirping.
Huyen Khong Son Son is located halfway up the mountain with a strange and fanciful beauty. The temple does not have a big Tam Quan (Triple) gate, íntead the temple gate is just as normal as a gate of a Hue garden house. The temple precinct is a green garden with small streams full of purple lilies, precious orchids, porcelain, minnows, pines, cypress ... hundreds of years old, peaceful space.
The pagoda area has the main hall, the Am purple cloud, the Nghinh Luong Dinh, the guest house, Chung Hoa Duong (the living room), the Quan Thien Duong (the cafeteria), the monk living rooms, ornamental plants, etc...
The main hall is a variation of a Hue communal house with traditional architectural style and materials to keep the appearance of Hue and Vietnamese souls, taking harmony with nature and poetry to be the main idea; light religious role, the focus is directed towards meditation, religious life.
Am May Tia is the accommodation, library, reception and writing calligraphy of the abbot. This is also a place where people who love literature, poetry, calligraphy come to talk, comment, practice pen, show their words ...
Yen Ha is a place to welcome guests, with flexible architectural features, tile roofs, pillars, cockroach color interior, casual and warm. Nghinh Luong Dinh, where visitors can come to rest, enjoy tea and talk.
