Long Son Pagoda Nha Trang is known as the White Buddha Temple. This temple is located at 22 October 23 Street, Phuong Son Ward, City. Nha Trang right at the foot of Trai Thuy mountain. This place includes Long Son pagoda below and another pagoda named Hai Duc above.

Long Son Pagoda in Nha Trang has an area of more than 3000m2, with unique architecture carved impressively, meticulously, boldly Asian. Harmonizing with this architectural work are rows of tall and ancient trees, spreading their foliage to give shade, making the air around the temple always fresh and very cool.

Long Son Pagoda Dress Code

The first impression when entering Long Son Pagoda, right in front of your eyes will be stone towers, lamp posts, reliefs carved with sophisticated patterns in harmony with the delicate architecture of each temple roof. .

From the yard to the main hall, there will be two three-step steps, in the middle is a porcelain mosaic engraved with the dragon's face and the word "Van". Although the main hall of the temple is not too magnificent, it is very dignified, the statue of Buddha sitting and preaching is arranged in the center of the shrine.

The statues here are all made of bronze with a weight of more than 700kg and a height of nearly 2m. In the center of the main hall, there are still 2 giant candles carved with dragons and delicate lotus flowers weighing up to 900kg, up to 3.4m high - this is a pair of candles that have achieved a Vietnamese record so far.

Long Son Pagoda History

Follow the path to the right of Long Son Pagoda, visitors will move another 193 steps to reach the top of the hill. Stop at the 44th step, you will admire the statue of Buddha entering Nirvana up to 7m long and 5m high. Behind the statue is a bas-relief of 49 bhikkhus holding their hands together to recite the Buddha's name.

Going about more than 10 more steps will be the place where the common bell has a weight of more than 1500kg. Every day in the early morning or evening, the temple bell will be resounded with heaven and earth, making many visitors feel calmer, deeper and at peace at the temple door.

Located at the top of the hill of Long Son pagoda is the statue of Kim Than Phat To Nha Trang (white Buddha statue) sitting and giving a sermon built in 1963. This statue is built of concrete, with a height of about 14m. The lotus part is 7m high and 10m wide in diameter.
