Architecture of Domaine de Marie Church in Dalat:

The vestibule is designed as an isosceles triangle, on the pointed top of the roof is a cross attached, the front is adorned by small lance shaped arches. In the center of the façade, near the top of the roof, there is a circular rose window. This detail often appears in French churches of the late seventeenth century.

The roof system is shaped like a communal house of ethnic minorities in the Central Highlands. The roof has a rather steep slope and is covered with red tiles made in Vietnam. The sophisticated wooden truss system contributes to the formation of an interior space in the church. The roof windows protruding from the large roof both create charming accents for a fairly large roof area, and are also the place to attach stained glass panels (from France) to illuminate the sanctuary space more shimmering. , fanciful.

The wall is built of split stone to the window sill in the style of Normandy architecture (Northern France). The wall under the roof is quite thick and the doors are designed deep inside, so on the side of the building, it is possible to clearly see the solid - hollow, dark and light colors, making the side of the building clear. more impressive and unique. Since its completion, the church has only used dark pink lime to sweep the walls.

The church was originally built without a bell tower. Currently, the church has a bell tower, the tower is located right behind the main hall with a small bell. In the church, there is a statue of Our Lady standing on the globe carved in the model of Vietnamese women, designed by Jonchère - a French architect, 3 m high, weighing 1 ton, made in 1943 and by his wife. Indochinese rights Decoux (Suzanne Humbert) donated.
