Dalat Cable Car Station is located on Robin Hill at an altitude of 1,517m above sea level. The talented Austrian and Swiss architects had designed the robin hill Da Lat cable car system and officially implemented it in February 2003.

History of Robin Hill Cable Car Station in Dalat:

Robin Hill Tourist Area, also known as Dalat Cable Car, is an extremely famous tourist area located at 1 Dong Da Street, Ward 3, Da Lat City, Lam Dong Province. In the past, Robin Hill used to be the place where the Tan Lac artillery barracks was located, which was considered an extremely important defense system of the Vietnamese army during the resistance war against the US. And now, this place has become an attractive tourist destination that if you have the opportunity to come to the dream city you should not miss.

The cable car runs from Robin Hill to the Truc Lam Monastery and was built by an Austrian company. The ride covers 2,3km, with 50 brightly painted cabins spanning the distance. The panoramic views of Dalat are worth the effort. Riding a cable car from Robin Hill to Truc Lam Zen Monastery was one of our favorite moments in Da Lat, Vietnam. The panoramic views of the mountains and pine forests are spectacular, and it was amazing to see the city from a different angle.

• Enjoy Amazing Scenery of Forrest:

Robin Hill Da Lat has a high line hanging nearly 2,300 meters, crossing the vast green pine forests. Sitting inside the cabins, you can admire the majestic mountain scenery, poetic as beautiful as a fairy scene.

The panoramic views of the mountains and pine forests are spectacular, and it was amazing to see the city from a different angle.The scenery from the cable car was impressive. We can also see Tuyen lam lake from afar.

• Visiting Truc Lam Zen Monastery:

Once you reach Truc Lam station, don’t forget to visit the Truc Lam Zen Monastery and immerse yourself in the tranquility of its surrounding environment. This is one of the best spots not to be missed in the city.

Truc Lam Zen Monastery is one of the three largest monasteries in Vietnam belonging to the Truc Lam Yen Tu lineage with an area of up to 30 hectares. From the monastery to the center of Da Lat city about 5 km. The two sides of the road to the Zen Monastery are surrounded by immense pine forests.

• Relaxing at Tuyen Lam lake:

We had a short trek from Truc Lam monastery to Tuyen Lam lake, one of the best landmarks in Da Lat city. Tuyen Lam Lake is more than 350ha wide, located in the middle of a vast green pine forest. The small oases create a charming poetic picture, and we were in awe when we first came here.

If you love to do some outdoor activities, we recommend to do kayaking or simply renting a boat and exploring the scenery of this amazing landscape.

• Check in Bali Heaven Gate:

Coming to the Robin hill resort without checking in at the Bali heaven gate is extremely unfortunate. This place has always been likened to "miniature Bali", with countless virtual living corners of millions of likes for visitors.

The special feature of the sky gate is that the background is made of glass, like a giant mirror reflecting the clear blue sky, giving an extremely impressive feeling.

How to Get to Robin Hill Cable Car in Dalat, Lam Dong?

Robin Hill Dalat is located not far from the city center so you can move here easily. You can rent a motorbike, travel on the tree-lined streets to enjoy the scenery as well as enjoy the fresh air of this place. Travel time only takes about 10 minutes.

Starting from Da Lat market, you follow the Ho Tung Mau route, through the roundabout you turn on the 3rd of April and go a further step to the legendary Prenn pass. From here, you turn onto Dong Da Street, follow the signposts and you will arrive at Robin Hill Da Lat.

When is the Best Time to visit Robin Hill Cable Car in Dalat?

According to the experience of going to Robin Hill in Dalat, the most ideal time to explore this place is from 9 am to 11 am. This is the time when the sun is warm, the space is airy and the sun does not shine through the cabins, which is very convenient for visitors' fun and discovery activities.

Besides, you also have to go to Robin Hill in the time frame from 14:00 to 16:00. The scenery at this time is very poetic, the sun is not as harsh as noon.
