Bun Cha: Ingredients & Recipe of Hanoi Style Grilled Pork
Bun Cha Hanoi (Hanoi Style Grilled Pork or Bun Cha Obama): Hanoi, needless to say, all Vietnamese people, whether knowingly or unknowingly, dedicate a small corner of their souls to this rich capital. Hanoi is rich in old streets, rich in calm lakes: Sword Lake, West Lake, Truc Bach Lake, Bay Mau Lake, Hanoi is also rich in food. Who doesn't know about La Vong fish cakes, West Lake shrimp cakes, Trang Tien ice cream and certainly bun cha, a long-standing dish that has been associated with the people of Hanoi for generations.
Bun Cha is a traditional dish of Hanoi people, although it has been passed on from generation to generation, the taste is always preserved, it is no longer simply a dish for Hanoi alone. It has been known by the people of the country as well as foreign tourists, on the list of must-try dishes when coming to Vietnam, and voted by National Geographic readers as one of the 10 best street foods in the world.
The dish is a combination of soft fresh vermicelli with grilled pork rolls and delicious dipping sauce. The pork rolls here are made from shoulder meat, minced, seasoned with spices to taste, then rolled and grilled, bacon is also made in the same way. The interesting thing that I like the most is that the grilled meat and sausages are grilled right in front of the restaurant, the smoke and aroma must be called to attract passersby, making them look back and do not want to leave.
A full part of the famous vermicelli dish must have enough: Fresh vermicelli, grilled bowl of grilled pork, raw vegetables, papaya, sweet and sour pickled carrots, chili garlic dipping sauce. Don't think it's simple, it's simple, without one dish, the taste will be affected. Well, the black color is not because the meat is burnt, but because it's marinated in water, so it's like that. Looking at a part like this, are you excited for the taste?
Put some vermicelli in a bowl, put a few stalks of vegetables, some papaya, carrots, pick up a piece of bacon, a piece of bacon and then pour fish sauce into it, let's eat!
Bun cha is also served with crab spring rolls, similar to spring rolls of the South, but its filling is minced crab meat with lean meat, chicken eggs, wood ear and spices, looks very attractive, isn't it? ?
The most famous bun cha in Hanoi is probably still number 1 Dac Kim in Hang Manh, a portion here is 60,000, but enough for 2 people to eat, spring rolls of the pool 15,000 each. Personally, I like to eat at smaller restaurants, the feeling is true to the old town, simple and warm. The shop I visited is 74 Hang Fan, 35,000 servings, rich in taste, clean and very tasty.
Don't be afraid to walk, don't be afraid to go far, to Hanoi, you have to walk through the old streets, see the roadside shops, to feel all the thousand-year-old beauty of Hanoi's land, friends!
