In 2007, Banh Mi Phuong was already a well-known name among local residents in Hoi An Ancient Town and Famous American Chef Anthony Bourdain was advised to give it a try during his trip to Vietnam. He did visit the stall but it took him about two years to come back with his team to feature the banh mi stall on his show of 'Anthony Bourdain: No Reservations.'
Anthony Bourdain and restaurateur Phillipe Lajaunie celebrated banh mi at the stall for its mix of flavors from the crispy bread filled with liver pate, cucumber, mayo, egg, and other ingredients. “That’s a symphony in a sandwich,” Bourdain commented.
The menu of Banh mi Phuong restaurant is quite diverse: mixed bread, beef and egg sandwich, omelet, grilled meat sandwich, roasted pork roll, tuna bread, ... comfortable for you to choose. .
