Suoi Tranh Waterfall: Location, Things to Do & Time to Visit
Suoi Tranh Waterfall is located in Suoi May hamlet, Duong To commune, Phu Quoc Island. It is named after the poetic Tranh stream flowing along from a small ravine on Ham Ninh mountain through rapids and mysterious forests. Coming here, you will immerse yourself in the untouched nature with cool water streams, green trees, and fresh flowers. This waterfall is an ideal place to plan a camping or picnic tour with friends and your family.

Discover the Natural Beauty of the Stream: Coming to Tranh waterfall, you will have to cross-forest roads with shady and soaring trees. When you arrive at Tranh stream, you can admire the beauty of cool green streams, bumpy rock formations, and white waterfalls. Discovering the Bat Cave: What do Tranh Stream waterfalls have? There is a desirable sightseeing option for you to visit the falls is the Bat Cave. This cave is located halfway up the mountain, right on the way to Suoi Tranh. Bat Cave is about 200m high and 50m deep. There are many beautiful stalactites inside the cave. Especially in the dry season, when the sunlight shines inside, it creates a shimmering, fanciful scene.
Joining Fishing Activities: Fishing in the stream is one of the exciting activities in Tranh Waterfall that you should not miss. The feeling of sitting by the clear blue stream, dropping a fishing rod into the calm waters, and relaxing will help you relax your soul, feel the peace of life. 2. Best Time to visit Suoi Tranh in Phu Quoc
Suoi Tranh Falls is not a big waterfall; however, the harmonious combination of mountains and spring water creates a beautiful scene that will attract people from the first sight. The best time to enjoy thoroughly amazing scenery is to travel between June to January the following year. The weather and climate in Phu Quoc is excellent during this time, with sunlight crept through each tree canopy; the stream water pours bring you peace and magnificence.
It is not recommended to visit during the dry season from february to may, because the waterfall falls into dry with very less water, and it may not be enough water to bath and sswim in the stream.
3. How to Get to Suoi Tranh Waterfalls Phu Quoc:
Suoi Tranh waterfall is about 10km from Duong Dong Town, so you can quickly get there either by taxi, car, bus, or drive a motorbike on your own. Transfer price also is different depending on transport type, it takes about 150,000 - 200,000 VND by taxi/ way, or 120,000 - 180,000 VND for renting motorbike/1 day.
To get there from Duong Dong town, you will move along DT47 road to Ham Ninh then turn to Suoi Tranh when you see the signboard. The road to the waterfall is a bit difficult, so you should care of your wheel if you drive on your own. Besides, choosing a tour to explore Suoi Tranh is a great idea to have the whole experience.
