Hue Festival 2020 will be delayed due to Covid-19 (Corona Virus)

The Standing Committee of Thua Thien Hue Provincial Party Committee has assigned the Provincial Party Committee's Personnel Committee to make two plans for organizing the 11th Hue Festival. If the situation of Covid-19 is well controlled, Hue Festival will take place in August instead of April. as expected. In the case of complicated epidemics, the 11 th Hue Festival may move to 2021.

"The specific time for organizing Hue Festival is decided by the provincial People's Committee," said Mr. Luu.

Previously, Hue Festival 2020 is expected to take place from 1 to 6/4 with the theme "Cultural heritage with integration and development - Hue is always new".

Programs at Hue Festival 2020 include: Opening Ceremony, Ao Dai Festival, Street Festival, Hue Festival - Food Capital City and two arts and culture programs. It is expected that more than 20 international art troupes from Korea, Japan, Singapore, Philippines, China, Israel, France, Russia, Belgium, Denmark, Austria, Hungary, Czech, USA, Mexico ... will attend the Festival. Hue 2020.

In addition, art troupes from 25 countries will participate in cultural performances, fashion, music in "ASEAN Night".
