On February 8, the patient was a passenger from London - England to Vietnam on Vietnam Airlines flight VN10, seat number 5K. After that, he made a number of domestic and foreign flights but did not remember specifically (the functional departments are verifying clarification).

From 13 - 18/3, patients stayed in Ho Chi Minh City and went to some places to eat and drink. On 17/3, the patient had a fever, cough and on the afternoon of March 18, he went to the Hospital for Tropical Diseases in Ho Chi Minh City and was hospitalized with X-ray condition with right lung tissue damage.

HCM City Tropical Diseases Hospital tested positive late at night on 18/3. The specimen at HCMC Pasture Institute was positive for SARS-CoV-2 virus on March 20.

As of 6pm on March 21, Ho Chi Minh City recorded 20 cases of Covid-19 infection (3 had recovered and were discharged from the hospital). The total number of new exposure cases was 216, of which 17 were suspected. 103 people had negative results, 13 people were waiting for the results.
