Hanoi Urgently Seeks People in Close Contact to Covid-19 Patient

The Covid-19 outbreak in Ha Loi, Me Linh (Hanoi) has so far recorded 6 cases of positive SARS-CoV-2 virus, of which 243rd cases were detected first. This patient had a history of going to Bach Mai Hospital, traveling between Hanoi and Me Linh and taking her family to Hanoi Maternity Hospital.

In relation to this patient, Covid-19 was infected in 5 patients, namely patients 250th, 253rd, 254th, 257th, patient 258th who is a neighbor, sister-in-law and mother and daughter of the patient's neighbor. In particular, patients 254th went to Hanoi Kidney Hospital Dialysis.

Hanoi has isolated the entire Ha Loi village with 2,711 households (11,077 people), taking 270 samples for testing of close contacts.

Regarding this outbreak of Covid-19, the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Public Security and the Ministry of Information and Communications suggest:

All the people who buy, sell, and sell flowers in Me Linh Flower Market (Lieu Tri Village, Me Linh Commune, Me Linh District, Hanoi) from March 20 until now should contact the nearest health authority immediately for advice.

Or people can text 8889 to provide phone numbers for people who have close contact with them.

Authorities also recommend that those who buy, trade flowers at Me Linh Flower Market during the above period should carry out isolation at home.

To date, the country has recorded 258 cases of Covid-19, with 114 cases being treated at health facilities, 144 cases have been declared cured / discharged. Currently, the most complicated outbreak in Hanoi is Ha Loi outbreaks in Me Linh District, with 6 cases of Covid-19 reported.
